Video Transcription and Subtitles | Audio to Text

You have a training video, an interview recording, or a webinar, and it needs to be transcribed and subtitled — for accessibility, for search visibility, or to reuse the text somewhere else (a blog, social media). This page covers that general content type.

If you have a meeting recording and want a decisions/action list out of it, that’s a different job — see Meeting Recording to Report. This page is about producing publish-ready content: a training video, podcast, interview, or webinar recording turned into text and subtitles ready to go live.

What I Deliver

  • Full transcript. The recording as spoken, cleaned up if needed (filler words and repetition removed).
  • A subtitle file. Timestamped, in a format that uploads directly to video platforms (YouTube, a player embedded on your site) — .srt / .vtt.
  • A timestamped summary. If you want, a short table of contents showing which topic appears at which minute.

How It Works

  1. I get the recording. A video file, an audio file, or a link (like YouTube) is enough.
  2. Transcription happens. Speech gets turned into text.
  3. Accuracy gets checked. Names, technical terms, and numbers get compared by hand — these are where AI makes the most mistakes.
  4. It’s delivered in whatever formats you need. Plain text, subtitle file, summary — whichever apply.

Accuracy and Language

On clearly spoken, single-speaker recordings, accuracy is very high. On recordings with overlapping speakers, heavy background noise, or a pronounced accent, the error rate rises — and so does the manual correction time, which affects price. It works on most common languages, including Turkish — just tell me the recording’s language upfront.

Who This Makes Sense For

Organizations producing training content (who want the video transcribed and delivered as a PDF too), podcast and interview creators, and marketing teams who want to turn webinar recordings into blog posts.

What It Does Not Do

  • It doesn’t edit or cut the content. If the recording itself needs video editing, that’s not my work.
  • It doesn’t process confidential recordings without consent. If the recording contains private conversations without third-party consent, we discuss that upfront.

You Can Hire Me for This

You can hire me for this: remote, billed hourly or per minute. What drives the timeline is recording length and audio quality.

Frequently Asked Questions

How fast do you deliver?

Short recordings (up to 30 minutes) usually take 1-2 days. Longer or lower-quality recordings take more time; I give you a clear timeline after a first look.

If there are multiple speakers, do you separate them?

Yes — labeled as “Speaker 1,” “Speaker 2,” and so on. If you know their names, it can be delivered with real names instead.

Can a recording in another language be translated into Turkish?

Transcription and translation are different jobs; the recording gets transcribed in its own language first, and translation into Turkish can be a separate step if you want both. If you need both, we clarify scope upfront.

What about a low-quality, noisy recording?

That works too, but accuracy drops and manual correction time goes up. I show you the accuracy rate on a sample clip first, and you decide from there.
