1. Site content is for general information
The articles, guides, comparisons and examples published on the Site and in the Knowledge Base are for general information. They are written without examining any particular business and do not replace individual consultancy.
Care is taken to keep the content accurate and current. Even so, digital advertising moves quickly: platform interfaces, campaign types, policy rules and recommended practices can change within months. Information in an article may already be out of date by the time you read it. No responsibility is accepted for the consequences of decisions you make in reliance on content published here.
2. Claims about advertising and marketing results
No results are guaranteed. Advertising management, SEO and digital marketing are best-efforts services, not fixed-outcome deliverables. What is promised is that the work will be done properly and with due care— not that a specific commercial outcome will be achieved.
In particular, no numerical commitment is given regarding:
- A specific cost per click, impression share or click-through rate,
- A specific number of conversions, conversion rate or cost per conversion,
- A specific sales volume, revenue, profit or return on ad spend (ROAS/ROI),
- A specific ranking position for a specific keyword on Google or any other search engine,
- Your brand being mentioned or recommended by AI assistants (ChatGPT, Gemini, Perplexity and similar),
- A specific result being achieved by a specific date.
The reason is not a question of competence — it is that the outcome is not within any single party’s control. Most of the factors determining campaign performance sit outside the service provider:
| Factor | Controlled by |
|---|---|
| Platform algorithms, auction dynamics, advertising policies and product changes | Google, Meta and other platforms |
| Competitors’ budgets, bidding strategies and entry into or exit from the market | Competitors |
| Sector demand, seasonality, economic conditions, exchange rates | The market |
| The product or service itself, its price, competitiveness and stock availability | The client |
| Website speed, usability and content | The client (may also be within the engagement) |
| Speed of response to enquiries, sales team performance, quoting process | The client |
| Level and continuity of advertising budget | The client |
| Campaign structure, targeting, copy and measurement setup | The service provider |
Estimates, projections and scenarios shared during discussions are based on historical data and platform forecasting tools. They are forecasts, not commitments.
3. References, case examples and published figures
Case examples and performance figures on the Site relate to real work and are accurate. However:
- They are past results; they do not indicate or guarantee future performance.
- Each result was achieved within that business’s own sector, budget, product, price, competitive environment and time period. The same approach may produce a different result elsewhere.
- For client confidentiality, some cases are described anonymously at sector and city level, without naming the client. This does not affect the accuracy of the data.
- Figures shown are based on platform reports for the relevant period. Because platform measurement methods change over time, figures from different periods may not be directly comparable.
4. Dependence on third-party platforms
Services are delivered on independent platforms such as Google Ads and Meta. I have no influence over how those platforms operate, their rules or their decisions.
- Account suspension and ad disapproval: Platforms may restrict or suspend advertising accounts or individual ads on the basis of their own policies, often without prior warning. Support is provided during appeals, but the outcome of an appeal is at the platform’s discretion and cannot be guaranteed.
- Policy and pricing changes: Platforms may withdraw campaign types, restrict targeting options or change pricing. No responsibility is accepted for performance fluctuations arising from such changes.
- Account ownership: Unless agreed otherwise in writing, the advertising account belongs to the client, who is the platform’s counterparty and the responsible party.
- Regulatory compliance of ad content: The advertiser is responsible for ensuring that advertised products and services, and the claims and creative used, comply with applicable law. Non-compliance is flagged when noticed, but final responsibility rests with the advertiser.
5. Measurement and data accuracy
Conversion tracking and analytics implementations follow accepted best practice. Even so, measurement data is not accounting data:
- Browser- and operating-system-level tracking restrictions, ad blockers and visitors who decline cookie consent all cause data loss.
- Platforms use modelled and estimated measurement; conversion counts reported by different platforms may not fully reconcile with each other or with your accounting records.
- Measurement setups run on the client’s website and infrastructure. Theme, plugin or infrastructure changes made on the client side can break them. Such breakages are fixed once reported; no responsibility is accepted for data lost during periods when they were not reported.
6. Technical services: web design, speed and infrastructure
- Speed optimisation results depend on the hosting provider’s capacity, the themes and plugins in use, image weight, and the device and connection speed used for measurement. No specific speed score is promised.
- Scores from speed testing tools vary between runs for the same site; a tool’s score is not in itself a guarantee of ranking or sales.
- Backups are taken before work begins. Even so, no responsibility is accepted for data loss originating from the client’s hosting environment, third-party software or simultaneous changes made on the client side.
- Bugs, security vulnerabilities and end-of-support decisions relating to third-party software and services (themes, plugins, servers, payment infrastructure and similar) are the responsibility of their developers.
7. AI-assisted tools and content
I use AI-assisted tools both in my own work and in client projects. The honest framing is:
- AI tools can make mistakes and produce outdated or unverified information. All published and implemented output is reviewed by a human; even so, the possibility of error is not eliminated entirely. If you spot an error, please tell me at info@oguzerol.com .
- Which sources AI chat and search tools choose to surface depends on their own models. Work can be done to improve visibility in these tools, but being mentioned or recommended cannot be guaranteed.
- In automation projects, the final decision and approval always rests with a human; critical processes are not left to unsupervised automation.
8. About certifications and the Google Partner badge
The Google certifications and Google Partner badge shown on the Site are genuine and verifiable. What they mean, however, should be clear:
- They show that the relevant platform’s competency and programme criteria have been met; they are not a performance guarantee issued by Google or Meta.
- Google Partner status belongs to Google’s own programme and its criteria may be changed by Google. The status does not imply a partnership with Google or any authority to make commitments on Google’s behalf.
- Third-party trademarks and logos used on the Site belong to their respective owners and are used for identification and reference only. Such use does not imply sponsorship, endorsement or affiliation.
9. Prices and proposals
Any price ranges and package descriptions shown on the Site are for general information and do not constitute a binding offer. The applicable price, scope and duration are set out in a written proposal prepared after a needs analysis. Advertising budget is not included in service fees and is paid directly to the relevant platform.
10. Legal, financial and tax matters
The Site occasionally touches on topics such as e-commerce regulation, advertising regulation, invoicing or taxation. This is not legal, financial or tax advice. I am neither a lawyer nor an accountant. Always consult a qualified lawyer or accountant before making decisions on such matters.
11. External links
The Site may contain links to third-party websites. These are provided for the reader’s convenience; I have no control over and accept no responsibility for the content, currency, security or privacy practices of linked sites. The presence of a link does not imply endorsement of that site’s content.
12. Limitation of liability
To the maximum extent permitted by applicable law, no responsibility is accepted for direct or indirect damages, loss of profit, loss of data or loss of business arising from use of the Site or the information on it. Liability is in all cases limited to intent and gross negligence .
This limitation does not apply to damage to a person’s life, bodily integrity or health, nor where the law does not permit limitation of liability. For clients under a signed service agreement, the scope of liability is governed by that agreement.
