OĞUZ EROLAI·ADS·APPS

Your records stay on your computer.

This notice covers the Mindful Break Windows application. It explains what you save, where it stays and how to remove it.

What is stored?

The app stores the water and break check-ins, short notes, timestamps and local dates you choose to save. Preferences such as reminder state and your selected interface language also stay on your computer.

No account is required. The app does not monitor other programs, browsing or your computer activity. Daily summaries contain only your own entries.

Is information sent anywhere?

The app has no network requests, analytics, advertising, cloud sync or remote AI. Translations are bundled with the app, and notes are not sent to a translation service. Records are never automatically uploaded.

Microsoft Store and Windows may use their own installation and update services. This is separate from the app and does not mean your journal is being uploaded.

Files and encryption

Records and recovery copies are local JSON files. They rely on your Windows account’s file permissions; the app adds no encryption. People or programs that can access those files on your computer may read their contents.

Find the actual folder in Settings → Open data folder. The portable version uses %LOCALAPPDATA%\MindfulBreak. If an error occurs, a local diagnostic file may contain its type, message and stack trace. That file is not automatically sent either.

Export and deletion

JSON export saves a copy of journal entries to a location you choose. It does not include application settings. You control any later sharing of that copy.

Settings → Clear journal entries asks for confirmation, then removes water, break and note entries for all days together with local recovery copies. Preferences remain. Copies you exported to other locations are not removed.

Deleting the portable application folder does not delete your journal. If clearing reports an error, do not assume deletion is complete; check the data folder or contact support.

This website and support email

Cookie use and visit measurement on this website are separate from the Windows app. The website’s cookie preferences and privacy policy apply to your visit here.

If you email support, your address and the information you include are sent by email. You do not need to send your journal, private notes or passwords.
