AI Output Review | Human Oversight

3 min read29 July 2026

Teams have started producing content, emails, and reports with AI tools at speed, but at most companies the question of who checks it before it goes out remains unanswered. AI sometimes generates wrong information, sometimes the tone doesn’t match the company’s voice, and sometimes a brand mistake slips through unnoticed.

I offer a pre-publish review service that fills this gap: I check your team’s AI-generated output (text, reports, emails) for accuracy, tone, and brand consistency before it goes live. This isn’t a content-creation service — it’s a review layer.

Why this need is growing

Research firms like Gartner point out that a significant share of aggressively deployed AI-powered projects carry a risk of being cancelled or restructured by 2027 — largely due to a loss of trust stemming from unchecked use. That’s exactly why the need for review has become so visible right now.

Once a team starts producing quickly with AI, if no checkpoint is built in to balance the risk that comes with that speed, sooner or later a mistake reaches a customer or the public.

What gets checked

Three main areas: accuracy (has the AI fabricated or misreported any information), tone (does it match your company’s voice, is it too robotic or too formal), and brand consistency (does it follow brand guidelines, avoid forbidden phrases, respect legal sensitivities). I build a simple but consistent checklist that covers all three.

If your publishing volume is high, we don’t check every single piece of output — we sample and prioritize the highest-risk items (anything customer-facing or public).

Setup and ongoing work

In the first phase, I work with you to set up the review criteria and the workflow: who produces, who approves, and under what conditions it comes to me. After that, it can continue as an ongoing service, or stay as a one-time engagement where I help your team build its own review process.

How do we start? First, we have a free 20-30 minute preliminary call. We talk about what you want and what’s realistic. If it’s a fit, I send the scope and price in writing, then we begin. You can reach me via the contact page.

Frequently Asked Questions

Do you personally read every piece of content?

It depends on volume. At low volume, yes, I check each one individually. At high volume, we do sampling and risk-based prioritization — reading everything by hand isn’t practical.

Doesn’t this slow down AI adoption?

Not when it’s set up correctly — the checkpoint doesn’t stop production, it just adds one final look before publishing. The goal is to catch errors while keeping the speed.

Which tools’ output can you review?

It doesn’t matter which tool produced it — what I’m reviewing is the final text or output. Whether it came from ChatGPT, Claude, or another tool makes no difference.

No, this is a quality-control service, not legal sign-off or a transfer of liability. For content carrying legal risk, I recommend getting separate legal advice.
