Advertising is a channel that flows as long as you keep the tap open. The day you close it, traffic stops. SEO, on the other hand, is infrastructure that builds slowly but never shuts off. The two aren’t rivals; in a healthy business, they work together.

I’ve been on the advertising side for 20 years, and that gives me an unusual advantage in SEO: I know which keyword actually generates revenue not from search-volume estimates, but from real conversion data. Ad data is the most honest keyword research you’ll ever have for SEO.

Technical, Content, Authority — All Three Together

Thinking SEO is just about producing content is a common mistake. There are three pillars: the site being technically crawlable and fast, content that genuinely answers what’s being searched for, and external signals that give that content credibility.

Which one is missing depends on the site. On some sites, writing 40 new pieces of content does nothing because the technical side is blocked; on others, the technical side is flawless but the content is far behind competitors. We start by measuring which one is the actual bottleneck.

SEO Alone Isn’t Enough Anymore: AEO and GEO

In 2026, search doesn’t happen in just one place. People ask Google, they ask ChatGPT, they ask Gemini. Classic SEO gets you found on Google; AEO and GEO get you cited as a source in AI-generated answers.

The good news: AEO/GEO doesn’t happen without a solid SEO foundation either. AI engines crawl the same pages. So the work you’ve already put in isn’t wasted — it’s a layer built on top. I cover this in more detail on the AI search visibility page.

Realistic Expectations

Seeing the first meaningful movement in SEO usually takes 3-6 months, longer in competitive spaces. I say this upfront because a promise of “first page in one month” is either a misunderstood goal or a sales pitch.

That said, there are measurable interim indicators from the first month on: pages crawled, indexing rate, technical errors decreasing, impressions rising. We watch these while waiting for rankings to move — so progress stays visible.

How do we start? First, we have a free 20-30 minute initial call. We talk about what you want and what’s realistic. If it looks like a good fit, I send you the scope and price in writing, then we begin. You can reach me through the contact page.

What Is SEO

SEO — Search Engine Optimization

SEO stands for Search Engine Optimization. It’s the work done to help a website rank higher in search engines. The goal is to drive organic (free) traffic to the website.

SEO consists of two main components:

  • On-Page SEO: Optimizations made within the website’s own content — title tags, meta descriptions, URL structure, internal linking, content quality, and keyword usage.
  • Off-Page SEO: Factors outside the website itself — building backlinks, social media sharing, and other external signal strategies.

Is There a Relationship Between SEO and Google Ads?

Yes, absolutely. A strong SEO strategy helps search engine algorithms understand your site better, which in turn helps it rank higher in search results. For a page with well-executed SEO, click costs on ads targeting it also come out lower. Whenever I’m asked to work on Google Ads campaigns, I always start by recommending SEO fixes and insist on addressing those first — and of course, I handle those fixes myself as well.

Frequently Asked Questions

How many months until I see results?

It depends on the site’s current condition and the competition. On a site with technical issues already resolved and some existing authority, movement usually starts in 3-4 months. On a new domain in a competitive sector, it can take 8-12 months. I give you a realistic range during the initial review.

Do you write the content yourself?

I define the content strategy — which page should target which query, and how the content should be structured. If the writing itself is done by you or your writer, the result is usually better, because you know your industry. I also offer writing support if needed.

I don’t recommend buying links in bulk — short-term gain, long-term risk. Instead, I focus on things that genuinely earn mentions: industry directories, business partners, press, and original content backed by real data. Slower, but lasting.

I already run ads — do I still need SEO?

If your ads are performing well, that’s proof there’s demand for those keywords. With SEO, you start capturing that same demand without paying per click. It also gives you an alternative channel when ad costs go up — that alone is reason enough.
