Custom Travel Planning | Researched Itineraries
I offer this service to people who are short on time and don’t want to spend their vacation researching it. I’m not a travel agency and I don’t sell commissioned tour packages — I build a booking-ready itinerary researched around your own preferences.
The result is a travel document planned hour by hour but left flexible, presented with alternatives. You decide where to go, when to go, and what you want to see; I take on the research and planning workload.
How is the itinerary built?
First I have a conversation with you to learn your preferences: your travel style (packed or relaxed), your budget range, your interests (history, nature, food, shopping). With that I build a daily flow — what time to go where, the travel time between stops, where you need a reservation.
The plan isn’t a rigid schedule; for each day I offer a main option and at least one alternative. If the weather changes, you get tired, or inspiration strikes, you can flex.
What does “booking-ready” mean?
The document doesn’t just say “go here” — it includes the booking link or contact info for each hotel, restaurant, or tour, admission prices, and which places require advance tickets. The point is that you can pick up the document and act on it directly.
I don’t make the bookings on your behalf — that muddies who paid for what. You book with your own card, your own account; I just put the right options in front of you.
Why this instead of a travel agency?
Travel agencies generally sell partner hotels and tours and earn commission on them. Since I don’t take a commission from any hotel or tour, my recommendations have no interest outside your budget and preferences. It’s a more neutral, more personal alternative.
How do we start? First, a free 20-30 minute initial call. We talk about what you want and what’s realistic. If it’s a fit, I send the scope and price in writing, then we start. Reach out via the contact page.
Frequently Asked Questions
Do you make the bookings?
No, I prepare the booking information and links, but you complete the transaction under your own account. This keeps payment and cancellation processes clean.
Is this suitable for group or family trips?
Yes, for trips involving people of different ages or interests traveling together, I adjust the plan accordingly — for example, a different daily flow for families with kids versus an adults-only group.
How far in advance should the plan be prepared?
It depends on the travel date, but during high season some places require early booking, so starting at least 3-4 weeks ahead improves the result. It can be done in less time too, with some loss of flexibility.
Do you also help with visas or insurance?
I can give general information and reminders on these, but I don’t handle visa applications or sell insurance — those are processes you need to run directly with the relevant official body or insurer.
