A weak feed dooms even a well-built campaign to weak performance, and the same feed also powers [Performance Max](https://oguzerol.com/en/what-is-performance-max/) campaigns. ## What I do and who it’s for For stores whose products are approved in Merchant Center but don’t deliver the results expected from ads, or that have many disapproved products. I review the feed in groups before going product by product: which products eat the budget, which get no impressions, which are disapproved. ## Optimization steps 1. **Diagnosis:** The list of disapproved and warned products in Merchant Center is exported and grouped by cause. 2. **Titles:** Brand, product type, model and the distinguishing feature (color, size, volume) are written in an order that matches the language shoppers search in. The title is one of the fields Google leans on most when deciding which product to show for which search. 3. **Category:** The Google product category is set correctly; a wrong category puts the product in a competition with unrelated items. 4. **Identifiers and attributes:** GTIN, brand, MPN, color, size and similar fields are filled in completely; Google’s [product data specification](https://support.google.com/merchants/answer/7052112) is the reference for required fields. 5. **Images:** Clear images with a simple background that show the whole product are chosen; images carrying text or watermarks are replaced. 6. **Grouping:** Products are grouped with custom labels by margin or sales performance, and bids are set on those groups in the campaign. 7. **Regular review:** Price and stock flow stays automatic, with a periodic content-quality review. ## Common mistakes - Writing only the product name as the title, with no brand or attributes. - Site price and stock not matching the feed, which can get products disapproved. - Dumping every product into one category or “other”. - Out-of-stock products staying in the feed and collecting wasted clicks. - Fixing the feed without measuring results, so you can’t tell which change worked. ## How I measure the result Changing the feed and calling it better isn’t enough. Before each round I record impressions, clicks, spend and conversions per product; after applying the change to product groups, I look at the same numbers again a few weeks later. If I change title, image and category all at once, nobody can tell which one worked, so on large catalogs I move in groups. I also note products whose performance drops or that get no impressions at all and look for the reason: disapproved, wrong category, or priced far above the market. **How do we start?** First I analyze your current feed and prioritize disapproved or low-performing products; I send the findings in priority order. For a large catalog a monthly review works; for a small one quarterly can be enough — stock and price changes flow automatically, so optimization focuses on content quality. ### Does Performance Max use the feed? Yes, Performance Max campaigns use the same feed; if feed quality is low, the automation works with low-quality signals. ### Is price competitiveness managed from the feed? Price lives in the feed, but competitive strategy is a separate topic; the feed’s only job is to pass an accurate, current price to Google. ### Do you edit the feed by hand or with rules? With rules where possible: a title template or category mapping is defined once and applied to new products automatically. Products the rule can’t catch are fixed by hand. Work-hour packages Tell me about your business and what you need on WhatsApp or by phone; we agree on **a work block of somewhere between 5 and 40 hours** and I start doing what is needed. What you get is not a calendar window — it is net working hours spent directly on your business. I can use 40 hours working three days straight, or deliberately spread it out and finish it over a year — whatever the work calls for. I do not spend my time estimating how long something will take, I spend it doing the work; every hour I spend leaves a lasting result in your business. We keep going for as long as you find it useful. WORK BLOCKS ## Why not monthly? Is 40 hours a week? On a fixed monthly fee both sides are watching the wrong thing: you watch a fixed cost, the other side watches how many more contracts like this they can line up. Working by the hour puts us both in front of the same thing — the real value of the work that got done. I know not having an upfront answer to "how much will this cost in total?" is the natural cost of this model. But instead of paying a fixed fee for months to a setup that is not producing results, you only pay for the qualified time spent on your work — and you see exactly where that time went, start to finish. That is why my clients keep coming back. 5hours300€ + VAT60€ per hour[Choose this block](https://wa.me/905496546489?text=Hi%2C%20I%27d%20like%20info%20about%20the%205-hour%20work%20block.) 10hours500€ + VAT50€ per hour[Choose this block](https://wa.me/905496546489?text=Hi%2C%20I%27d%20like%20info%20about%20the%2010-hour%20work%20block.) 20hours800€ + VAT40€ per hour[Choose this block](https://wa.me/905496546489?text=Hi%2C%20I%27d%20like%20info%20about%20the%2020-hour%20work%20block.) 40hours1,400€ + VAT35€ per hour[Choose this block](https://wa.me/905496546489?text=Hi%2C%20I%27d%20like%20info%20about%20the%2040-hour%20work%20block.)
