[Oğuz Erol](https://oguzerol.com/en/about-me/) | 3 min read | Published: 19 August 2026 ## Quick summary What you can and cannot learn about the people clicking your Google Ads: the five breakdowns that actually change decisions, and the data privacy law withholds. One of the questions advertisers ask most: “Who is spending my money — can I see who clicked?” Short answer: not the individuals, but their behaviour in surprising detail. ## What you cannot see Google does **not** give you the name, phone number, email address or full IP of the person who clicked. That isn’t a setting you’ve missed; it’s what privacy law requires. If a tool promises to show you exactly which individuals visited your site, that promise has no basis on the Google Ads side. Because you can’t see individual clicks, you also can’t directly link “this person clicked, then called”. Instead, [conversion tracking](https://oguzerol.com/en/ad-conversion-setup/) tells you in aggregate: this campaign produced this many calls. ## What you can see The things that genuinely appear in the interface and change decisions: **What they typed.** The search terms report lists the real queries your ad appeared for. It’s the single most valuable report in the account — this is where you see where the budget went. **Where they are.** City, often down to district. Clicks from areas you don’t serve surface here. **What device they used.** Phone, desktop, tablet. People who click on mobile and leave immediately usually point at the mobile experience of the page. **When they clicked.** Day and hour breakdown. Budget spent while you’re closed shows up here. **How relevant they are.** Age, gender and interest groups — as aggregates, never individually. ## What to do with it Not knowing individual identities isn’t a practical obstacle, because optimisation happens at group level anyway. The five breakdowns above tell you which keywords to [add as negatives](https://oguzerol.com/en/negative-keyword-management/), which hours to pull budget from, which locations to switch off, and whether your mobile page needs work. There’s also one use that gets overlooked: reaching the same person again. You don’t need to know who they are to add a site visitor to a [remarketing](https://oguzerol.com/en/remarketing-ads/) audience. **Are these reports switched on in your account?** I can check which breakdowns aren’t collecting data. Google automatically filters suspicious and repeated clicks and credits them back; they appear in reporting as invalid clicks. ### Are the tools that identify visiting companies real? There are tools that infer corporate visitors from company networks, but they are inferences and they don’t work for individual consumers. Google Ads doesn’t provide this data. ### If the same person clicks twice, do I pay twice? Google treats repeated clicks in a short window as invalid and doesn’t charge for them. Clicks on different days are charged separately — to limit that, look at the [frequency](https://oguzerol.com/en/how-often-the-same-person-sees-my-ad/) side. Work-hour packages Tell me about your business and what you need on WhatsApp or by phone; we agree on **a work block of somewhere between 5 and 40 hours** and I start doing what is needed. What you get is not a calendar window — it is net working hours spent directly on your business. I can use 40 hours working three days straight, or deliberately spread it out and finish it over a year — whatever the work calls for. I do not spend my time estimating how long something will take, I spend it doing the work; every hour I spend leaves a lasting result in your business. We keep going for as long as you find it useful. WORK BLOCKS ## Why not monthly? Is 40 hours a week? On a fixed monthly fee both sides are watching the wrong thing: you watch a fixed cost, the other side watches how many more contracts like this they can line up. Working by the hour puts us both in front of the same thing — the real value of the work that got done. I know not having an upfront answer to "how much will this cost in total?" is the natural cost of this model. But instead of paying a fixed fee for months to a setup that is not producing results, you only pay for the qualified time spent on your work — and you see exactly where that time went, start to finish. That is why my clients keep coming back. 5hours300€ + VAT60€ per hour[Choose this block](https://wa.me/905496546489?text=Hi%2C%20I%27d%20like%20info%20about%20the%205-hour%20work%20block.) 10hours500€ + VAT50€ per hour[Choose this block](https://wa.me/905496546489?text=Hi%2C%20I%27d%20like%20info%20about%20the%2010-hour%20work%20block.) 20hours800€ + VAT40€ per hour[Choose this block](https://wa.me/905496546489?text=Hi%2C%20I%27d%20like%20info%20about%20the%2020-hour%20work%20block.) 40hours1,400€ + VAT35€ per hour[Choose this block](https://wa.me/905496546489?text=Hi%2C%20I%27d%20like%20info%20about%20the%2040-hour%20work%20block.)
